Jona Salcher started his studies at the University of Television and Film Munich in 2016. Since then, he has worked internationally as a freelance cinematographer for short feature films, documentaries and commercials. Since he grew up in the Dolomites, he is a passionate Climber and Alpinist and is specialized in high-altitude Film Projects. He has had a two-year-long training as an Alpinist in High-altitude terrain in the "Team Alpinist" of South Tyrol. In addition, he has the official Drone license for critical Mountain Projects. Since 2023, he has been a member of the mountain rescue service of South Tyrol.
